Graco ComfortSport Convertible Car Seat DESCRIPTION
The Versatile Convertible for infants to toddlers. When your baby grows too big for his infant seat, but is too small to face forward, this “in between” car seat is just right. The American Academy of Pediatricians recommends your child ride rear-facing as long as comfortably possible – at least until 20 pounds and one year of age. The Cozy Cline Convertible Car Seat can be used rear-facing up to 30 pounds then turns forward-facing for use as a toddler seat up to 40 pounds. The 5-point harness helps keep your child secure, while a head support and plush, roomy seat keep him comfy. There’s even a cup/snack holder to keep drinks and snacks handy.
EPS energy absorbing foam liner. 5-point front adjust harness with two buckle and three shoulder height positions grow with your child. Removable infant head support cradles baby’s head and neck. Deluxe Cup Holder/snack tray keeps necessities close at hand. Two-piece chest clip makes buckling and unbuckling easier. Patented easy-to-read level indicator for proper installation in the rear-facing position. Latch equipped for easy installation.

Great seat, June 5, 2009

This carseat is basic, nothing fancy, but safe and easy to install. I would recommend this Graco ComfortSport Convertible Car Seat to all. The materials are sturdy and comfortable. No complaints.

My son is 3 1/2 and not quite 40 pounds and was still in this car seat only a different design. We were in a bad car accident and landed on our top. He was snug and safe throughout the whole ordeal and walked away with no injury at all. That car seat saved his life. Nothing came loose or unbuckled in any way. I am purchasing another one and my other two children were in Graco booster seats…no one was injured! I’ll only buy Graco…it’s affordable and has proved it’s safety to us!

We got this carseat because our little boy is getting to the tail end of his carrier carseat and it was killing me carrying him in his carrier up and down the stairs to our apt and getting him in and out of the car. We got this because it should last him a long time. The Graco ComfortSport Convertible Car Seat seat is very cushy – much cushier than some of the other ones if you go check them out in the stores. It was a little tricky to get in at first just because we’d never done it before with this type of seat. We have the latch system in our car so that helped a lot. The seat was initially setup to go in rear-facing, so you will have to re-string the straps through the right way if you want it to go forward-facing. We do have to use a towel to level it as its still rear-facing, but its no big deal and the little meter on the seat is really easy at showing you when its in the right spot. Overall we love this and our baby does really well in it. The only possible drawback is that since it doesn’t lean back as far as his carrier, when he falls asleep he slumps over a bit. The straps are a DREAM to loosen and tighten. They get a little uneven sometimes, but what straps don’t? would definitely recommend to a friend. For comparison’s sake, our baby was about 17lbs and 4-5mo old when we started putting him in this carseat. Also, on our old carrier carseat, it always took a crazy amount of finger strength to push in the release button on his straps, but this carseat is waaayyyy easier to get him in and out. The harness goes over each arm and then clasps in the middle with the plastic latch and then snaps together in the middle to the lock. Its hard to explain, but I’m glad we spent the money on this.
